ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, Disney•Pixar’s ―Brave follows the heroic journey of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald),
a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to
change her fate, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of
Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane), unleashing chaos
in the kingdom. When she turns to an eccentric Witch (voice of Julie Walters), she is granted an ill-fated wish and the ensuing peril forces
Merida to harness all of her resources—including her mischievous triplet brothers—to undo a beastly curse and discover the meaning of true
bravery. Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, ―Brave is a grand adventure full of heart, memorable
characters and signature Pixar h or. Opens on June 22, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.
Did you know that the filmmakers of Disney Pixar feature films like to sneak what they call "Hidden Gems" into each of their movies? Hidden gems are items from one movie that they sneak into another. For instance, In the move Wall-E, the little robot is exploring and uncovers a Mike Wazowski antennae ball, paying homage to Monsters Inc.! The movie, Brave, has 2 such hidden gems in it!
In this first picture, just in front of the witch who is disguised as a woodcarver, you can see a carved figurine of the infamous Pizza Planet truck which is an iconic delivery truck that has appeared in nearly every feature length film by Pixar Animation Studios since 1995's Toy Story!
In this second picture, if you look closely at a piece of wood toward the right side, you will see the image of Sulley, the lovable blue monster from Monster's Inc. This one may have something to do with the future release of Monsters University due to come out in 2013!
