The thing that always amazes me is how Jaden can turn from monster to sweetheart so quickly. One minute, he will be running through the house tearing up everything in sight, and the next minute he will be cuddling with me on the couch. He is always so appreciative of everything he gets, a trait I've instilled in him since birth really. Yesterday, while he was at storytime, I went to Walmart and bought him some new socks and a flag tshirt for 4th of July. I also bought myself a matching flag tshirt so we would match! When he got home and I showed him his new socks and tshirt, he started jumping up and down yelling "OH THANK YOU MOMMY!" with tears in his eyes! All over some socks and a tshirt! He hugged and thanked me several times yesterday for that purchase. What a cutie! It makes me proud that he has such good manners. I have to say that I love this little guy more than life itself and I can't imagine life without him!
I love you Bobo!
Love, Mommy
I'd love to hear some of your stories about your children! Sweet stories, funny stories, ones where you could have pulled your hair out! Leave them in the comments section for me! I would love to read them all!
Until next time,
I love your green and red here! Right now, we have an adult child who needs money all of the time--of course! That can make you pull your hair out;)
ReplyDeleteYour little boy sounds so cute! I love how grateful he was for his shirt and socks--a rarity these days with kids.
ReplyDeleteAs for me- no children stories yet (but plenty of puppy ones! haha) but I hope in the next year or two we will have a child to share stories about :)
I love stories about little ones! Your son sounds just precious. I love this age too, when they can pretend they are anything and everything. My 7 year old still loves to play pretend games and will sometimes announce that he is his older brother, or that he is his dad and then start to "act" like them. It really makes the hard days worth it!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love how creative your son's imagination is!
ReplyDeleteAs for my twins - it's never ending adventures - ths week my son peed on my computer, they climbed onto the dining room table etc etc!
They are little monkeys!
