Devany's Designs Etsy Store Review and Product Giveaway! US Only-Ends 7/22!

Devany's Designs Etsy Store is a store that is dedicated to party supplies! They specialize in banners of all sizes, shapes and themes! They also carry invitations, cake and cupcake toppers, party hats to match the banners, and party games! I was given the opportunity to review a banner of my choice so since Jaden's 5th birthday party is coming up, I ordered the Cars banner! Shipping was really quick! From the time I ordered it to the time it got here, was less than a week! Here's what it looked like when it got here:

Originally, the banner was in a large yellow padded envelope and it was packaged in a plastic bag tied with a ribbon. I immediately took it out and hung the banner up to see what it looked like! Here's a few pictures of this awesome banner!

The banner is about 8 foot long total, but from the beginning of the Happy to the end of Birthday is about 6 feet. The letters and Lightening McQueen are hung on black ribbon allowing the letters to be moved along the ribbon if you wanted the letters to be closer together or further apart. The quality of the letters is great! They are made of a thick paper and are laminated.

I was very pleased with my experience with Devany's Designs. I will definitely visit the store again when I need other party supplies!

Buy it: If you'd like to purchase a banner or other party supplies, please visit Devany Designs Etsy Store. You can also visit them at their Facebook Page or at Devany's Designs Blog. You can follow them on their Pinterest Page as well!

Win it:  Devany's Designs would like to offer a Lucky Emerald's Reader a $20 credit to their Etsy store! Enjoy free shipping, unless you order any of the cupcake toppers. If you want the cupcake toppers, you MUST pay the shipping yourself. You can use the credit for a free item up to $20. If your order is over $20, you must pay the difference.

Make It Personal Personalized Invitation Review and Giveaway! Ends 06/14

My son Jaden will be turning 5 this summer! I almost can't believe it! Time has passed so quickly and now my baby will be going to kindergarten this fall! I believe that the 5th birthday party is a special one since it signifies him being old enough for school so I want to make this party as special as I can! What better way to commemorate Jaden's big 5th birthday than having personalized invitations to his party! I contacted the owner of an Etsy store called Make It Personal and she worked with me to create an amazing invitation for Jaden's big day! It was so easy and the owner of the store walked me through every step! All I had to do was email her a picture and the details for the party, then pick a design I liked from her many options in her store. You can browse her designs HERE! Then she emailed me back the link to my personalized invitation! You can see the finished design below--

Because this is a public blog, I had to block some of the personal info out. The white boxes are not normally in the original design! When she sent me the email with the invitation in it, I had to download it from there. Then I transferred it to a flash drive, took the flash drive to Walmart and used their picture maker there to print out as many invitations as I needed! So the design cost $9.00 and then to print out the number of invitations that I needed cost me $4.50! Not bad for personalized invitations that our friends and family will get to keep as a momento of Jaden's 5th birthday party! I don't know about you, but when I get an invitation or a holiday card from family or friends that has a picture of the kids or the whole family on it, I keep it in my photo album! Sometimes that's the only way that I have recent pictures of second cousins and some of my other entended family! It's my hope that people keep this invitation in their photo albums!

It's also my hope that you, my dear reader, will contact Make It Personal for all your invitation or announcement needs! She not only offers birthday invitations for all ages, she also offers birth announcements, baby shower and wedding showers invitations, business card and logo designs, thank you notes and party games to print out!

You can also contact the owner at her Facebook page, and also at her Twitter page!

Win It: Make It Personal is offering one Lucky Emerald's reader a $10 gift certificate to the store so you can personalize your own! Just fill out the rafflecopter below for your chance to win! Good luck!

Birthday Chronicle #Review and #Giveaway!

\

I was recently asked to review the Birthday Chronicle from Because I Tried It! I wasn't sure exactly what I'd be getting when I ordered my copy, but once I got it, it was so cool looking! It looks like an old newspaper with your information on it! I chose to have my son's information put on it. It has his first and last name and the fact that he's turning 5 on the top as a headline! The rest of the page is news stories from the day that he was born! I printed mine out, framed it and hung it on my son's bedroom wall! I also made a copy and put it in my son's baby book as a momento! It will be neat to look at it again when my son is an adult to see what happened on his birthday in 2007!

Get one:  Go to Because I Tried It Personalized Products to find all the different things you can get personalized, including the Birthday Chronicle! Prices start at $2.00 for the emailed version that you print out yourself, all the way up to $20.00 for  a framed version with personalized stationary as well! When you buy the emailed version for $2.00, 100% of the proceeds go to children in need!

Win it: Just fill out the rafflecopter below for a chance to win one of the emailed versions for free! There will be 2 winners! Good luck everyone!
